A winner dinner for the whole family!
Juicy, flavourful and packing in colour and goodness for a healthful, delicious meal.
Side this recipe with chunky homemade chips or wedges and a fresh salad /veg for added satisfaction!

Ingredients:
500g turkey mince
1 medium onion, diced
1 fat clove of garlic finely chopped
1 medium carrot, grated
2 handfuls of kale/other leafy green
1.5 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp tomato puree
1 tbsp flour
1 heaped tbsp fresh chopped herbs (your choice - basil/coriander/parsley work well).
seasoning to taste
Method:
In a large mixing bowl, add the turkey mince
Finely dice the onion and garlic and add to the bowl. Mix well.
Grate 1 medium carrot and slice the kale - add to the bowl.
Add the condiments, flour, seasoning and herbs, mixing again until everything is well combined.
Shape the mixture into 4-6 patties and set aside for a moment
Heat a glug of oil in the pan and place the patties in, cooking for 2 mins on medium heat
Flip the burgers and cook for another 2 mins
Add a splash of water to the pan and put the lid on right away, trapping the steam in to help the burgers cook further (+ make them juicy).
After a few mins, with a knife, carefully slice one of the burgers in the centre for a peek, making sure there is no pink meat visible (it should be fully white).
Add any cheese on top/other toppings/sides and place in a bun
Enjoy!
